CAB Movie: The King's Speech

When it comes to movies, I usually chose the typical chick flick or romantic comedy, but I recently heard that CAB is showing the award winning film, King’s Speech!
This movie is definitely a step up for me, but I also know that it is also a movie that is worth clearing your schedule and finding two dollars in order to see. My friends and I are getting there early because I think it will be a sellout!
I remember watching the Academy Awards and wondering what QUEEN ELIZABETH was thinking! I mean a movie about her dad just won! (As if they weren't special enough :P)
Its crazy to think about the things King George went through to become so amazing! He was different after all; he had a speech impediment.
Because of his impediment, there was nothing he dreaded more than public speaking. However, upon taking his seat in the British monarchy, the country found itself in the midst of crisis.  All eyes turned to King George VI for answers as England quickly declared war on Germany.
I’ve always been curious about the life of a king and now we get a sneak peak!!!  To watch the trailer for this movie click:
So I will save you a seat in the Illinois Room at the IMU at 10pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (and don't forget the $2 and your own snacks)
